A World

I could only see one star through the clouds,
In the sky full of darkness,
underneath the sky laid a world
full of lies and dishonesty,
A world in which I no longer desired to survive,
A world where love was just like any other word,
A world where emotions were
used as weapons,
A world in which I lost the only beacon of light I ever had,
A world where the only thing shining except the star were
the little lights which stepped on lives to rise,
I wished to be one of them,
But that one beacon of light,
held me from going into their dark world,
The beacon of light which was no longer with me,
Where darkness had overtook light,
And there was no one to hold me,
A world in which I no longer desired to survive.
